Instagram Will Start Showing Ads Soon

Instagram_Video_FacebookPhoto and video sharing app Instagram says it will start showing advertisements in the next couple of months, for users in the United States, to begin with.

“We have big ideas for the future, and part of making them happen is building Instagram into a sustainable business,” said the company in a blog post.

Instagram says it will start slow, and focus on delivering a small number of photos and videos from a handful of brands that are already members of the Instagram community.

Instagram, a Facebook company, will also let users hide advertisements and provide feedback about what  they do not want, like in Facebook.

Instagram has over 150 million users worldwide, according to the company.
