Informatica plans to acquire UK-Based Privitar

Informatica announced plans to acquire Privitar, a UK-based data management access and privacy software provider. The financial terms of the deal, expected to close in the third quarter of 2023, remain undisclosed.

The move aims to integrate Privitar’s advanced access controls and privacy remediation into Informatica’s Intelligent Data Management Cloud (IDMC) platform.

Informatica plans to leverage the capabilities of its Claire AI engine alongside Privitar’s data access management capability, with a view to accelerating the use of governed and trusted data across organizations.
