IBM, AT&T To Provide E-Commerce Solution

AT&T and IBM have signed a business agreement to deliver a new e-commerce solution for to retailers provide a consistent shopping experience for customers whether they are shopping online, via a mobile app or in-store.

The new service combines AT&T’s cloud, application management and network services with e-commerce software from IBM’s Smarter Commerce initiative, in a single, subscription-based package.

The AT&T-IBM e-commerce service is expected to be available this year, says the companies.
