HP launches Device as a Service delivery model

HP has launched a Device as a Service (DaaS) delivery model, that lets enterprise customers pay one price per seat for their PCs on a monthly basis over a multi-year period.

Devices include workstations, as well as smartphones. HP will also provide analytics into the fleet’s inventory, location, and condition, says the company. HP already offers managed print services to customers; printer hardware and services can also be integrated with this offering.

Pricing will vary based on individual subscriptions, says HP.
