HP Gets $67M Cloud Contract

HP and the government of Catalonia recently signed a $67 million cloud-based infrastructure deal.

Under the terms of the ten-year contract, HP will move Generalitat de Catalunya (CTTI), an institution of the government of Catalonia, technology infrastructure from a dedicated client-owned data center to a HP-managed cloud environment. HP will continue managing the organization’s computing environment while migrating it to a virtual private cloud located in Barcelona, Spain.

HP currently provides a variety of IT Infrastructure Outsourcing Services and Applications Services to the government of Catalonia.
