Google is giving away AI that can build your genome sequence — Wired

Google announced the open source release of DeepVariant, a deep learning technology to reconstruct the true genome sequence from HTS sequencer data with what the company says significantly greater accuracy, than previous classical methods.

DeepVariant is just the front end of a much wider deployment; genomics is about to go deep learning, Wired’s Megan Molteni writes. Here is the link – https://www.wired.com/story/google-is-giving-away-ai-that-can-build-your-genome-sequence/

DeepVariant is a suite of Python/C++ programs that run on any Unix-like operating system. Here is the link to the codebase on GitHub – https://github.com/google/deepvariant
