Futuremark Delists Samsung, HTC Phones For Breaking Benchmarking Rules

Futuremark_delist_android_samsungFuturemark, a company that provides benchmarking software used by consumer electronics companies to measure hardware performance, has delisted the Samsung Galaxy 3 for not following proper benchmarking rules.

The Samsung Galaxy 3 is not the only device to be taken off the company’s benchmarking list. Futuremark has delisted six Android devices – the HTC One, the HTC One Mini, Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 (MSM8974), Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 (Exynos 5 Octa), Samsung Galaxy Note 3 (Exynos 5 Octa) and Samsung Galaxy Note 3 (MSM8974). “Delisting is a last resort when we have evidence that a manufacturer is breaking the rules,” says the company. “Whatever their intentions, manufacturers must follow our rules to get a valid benchmark score,” it adds.
