Facebook To Start Serving Ads To Mobile Apps

fb-audience-networkfb-audience-networkFacebook will soon start serving ads to third-party mobile apps, yes, much like Google. The social networking giant rolled out a new service called Audience Network, at the company’s annual f8 developer conference on Wednesday. The audience network will roll out to advertisers in the coming months.

The Audience Network uses the same targeting currently available for Facebook ads, including custom audiences, core audiences and lookalike audiences, according to Facebook. It features the same measurement tools marketers use for their Facebook ads, as well. The audience network will be available in all ad interfaces, as well as the API.

Facebook warns that it is in the early phases of the audience network service, and performance may vary.
