Equifax has acquired Ansonia, a provider of business credit, collections, and account receivable data used by financial institutions, creditors, and businesses focused on the transportation and logistics industries.
The terms of the transactions were not disclosed.
Ansonia will be integrated into Equifax’s PayNet; which is a company providing credit ratings on small businesses.
Ansonia covers seven million businesses across more than 140 industries. Each day, the Ansonia global database completes updates to 25 million accounts, worth more than $700 billion in trade accounts receivable data, according to Equifax.
