Headless content management systems company Contentful has raised $80 million in a Series E funding round. The investment was led by Sapphire Ventures, with participation from General Catalyst, and Salesforce Ventures.
Contentful has raised $158 million to date.
In another development, Contentful has a new chief marketing officer now; Bridget Perry, who most recently led Adobe marketing across Europe, the Middle East and Africa.
Contentful’s senior leadership team expanded late last year with CEO Steve Sloan and Chief Legal Officer Margo Smith. In total, eight senior leaders joined in the past year, says the company.
