Comerica CEO Curtis Farmer elected to Texas Instruments board

Curtis Farmer, chairman, president and chief executive officer of Comerica and Comerica Bank, has been elected to Texas Instruments’ board of directors, the company said in a statement.

Mr. Farmer joined Comerica in 2008 as executive vice president of Wealth Management. He was named vice chairman of Comerica’s Retail Bank and Wealth Management divisions in 2011 and president of Comerica and Comerica Bank in 2015. Mr. Farmer was named CEO in 2019 and assumed the role of chairman of the board in 2020.

Prior to joining Comerica, Mr. Farmer was executive vice president at Wachovia.

Mr. Farmer holds a bachelor’s degree from Wake Forest University, where he also earned a master’s degree in business administration.
