Coby Set To Launch Ice Cream Sandwich Tablets

Coby is all set to launch an assortment of Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich Internet tablets.  Coby will debut five standout introductory models starting Q1 2012.  The Coby Android 4.0 tablet collection will be unveiled at the CES in Las Vegas in January.

The Android 4.0 assortment will include the 7″ MID7042, 8″ MID8042 (4:3 aspect ratio), 9″ MID9042, 9.7″ MID9742 (4:3 aspect ratio),  and 10″ MID1042.  The upcoming units all will feature 1GHz ARM Cortex A8 CPU and offer capacitive multi-touch screens, up to 1GB of RAM,  expandable memory up to 32GB, Wi-Fi  and HDMI 1080p output.

While the company has kept the pricing under wraps, it says the models will be available at ‘incredible prices.’
