Clavister selects Webroot for IP reputation services

Network security company Clavister has selected Webroot to provide IP reputation services — Clavister will complement its range of virtual and appliance-based security services with the Webroot BrightCloud IP Reputation Service.

The BrightCloud IP Reputation Service contains a dynamic list of approximately eight to twelve million malicious IPs at any given time, according to the company. According to Webroot, more than 100,000 IP addresses are reclassified from benign to malicious every day.
