Canon_EOS_70D

Canon has launched the EOS 70D Digital SLR camera. The camera features Dual Pixel CMOS AF system for focusing, the new 20.2 megapixel APS-C Canon CMOS sensor, and DIGIC 5+ Image Processor. It also comes with wireless connectivity and users can control ISO/aperture/shutter speed via smartphones.

The EOS 70D Digital SLR camera comes with built-in wireless transmitters. Users can connect to mobile devices, as well as computers and printers wirelessly. Users can also control aperture, shutter speed, and ISO from their smartphone. The EOS 70D app can be downloaded for both iOS and Android.

The EOS 70D features a new 20.2 megapixel APS-C Canon CMOS sensor and Canon’s DIGIC 5+ Image Processor, and has an ISO range of 100–12800 (expandable to 25,600). Canon’s newly-developed Dual Pixel CMOS AF, a phase-detection autofocus (AF) technology on the camera’s image sensor plane, enables users to shoot video close to the quality of a camcorder, says Canon.

The EOS 70D is scheduled to be available in September 2013 for an estimated retail price of $1199 for the body alone, and $1349 bundled with an EF-S 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6 IS STM lens or $1549 bundled with the EF-S 18-135mm f/3.5-5.6 IS STM lens.
