Barnes & Noble Launches New Nook With GlowLight

[Techtaffy Newsdesk]

Barnes & Noble has unveiled a new edition of its Nook Touch e-reader; this one comes with GlowLight. It is the world’s first E Ink device with patent-pending lighting technology, boasts Barnes&Noble, and is also its lightest Nook so far.

The device combines a E Ink display with an infrared touchscreen, built-in anti-glare screen, and an evenly distributed and adjustable light for reading in the dark. Its battery will last for over one month of reading on a single charge, even with the light on, says BN.

The latest Nook is available for pre-order, and has a price tag of $139. The device will begin shipping early May.
