Angry Birds Fights Extinction

[Techtaffy Newsdesk]

There are currently 189 bird species on the verge of extinction. To show support for their feathered brethren, Angry Birds has launched a new Angry Birds website to educate fans about endangered species.

This new website was launched in support of BirdLife International, a global partnership of conservation organisations that strives to conserve birds, their habitats and global biodiversity. Fans can play the latest version of Angry Birds for Chrome, learn more about endangered bird species, and make a donation to help critically endangered birds.

Angry Birds maker Rovio first worked with Birdlife International in April 2011, when the organization was part of the Angry Birds Seasons Golden Egg Hunt.
