Accenture and Pivotal form new cloud business group

Accenture and Pivotal Software have formed a new business group. The Accenture Pivotal Business Group (APBG) can help enterprises migrate legacy applications to the cloud, and accelerate cloud-native application development on Pivotal Cloud Foundry, said the companies in a statement.

Operated and managed by Accenture and powered by Pivotal’s software development methodology, the APBG will also offer clients capabilities for developing cloud-native products and services that leverage artificial intelligence.

Accenture and Pivotal will launch two APBG locations, one in Columbus, Ohio, and another in New York City.
