Accenture, Microsoft Launch Hybrid Cloud

Accenture and Microsoft are launching a hybrid cloud solution for Microsoft Azure. Working with Avanade, the companies are co-funding and co-engineering the new platform with hybrid cloud technologies and services for building and managing enterprise-wide cloud infrastructure and applications.

Satya Nadella (CEO, Microsoft): Enterprises around the globe are looking for the right platforms and partners to help them transform and thrive in a mobile-first, cloud-first world.

The collaboration between the two companies is the most far-reaching agreement between Accenture and Microsoft since the 2000 joint venture to launch Avanade, a Microsoft solution provider with more than 22,000 employees and $2 billion in global sales.
