Xanadu secures contract with Hamad Bin Khalifa University for quantum computing

Toronto-based Xanadu, a company specializing in photonic quantum computing, has announced a partnership with Hamad Bin Khalifa University’s College of Science and Engineering (CSE) to prepare a quantum-ready workforce in Qatar.

Under this partnership, the Qatar Center for Quantum Computing (QC2) at CSE will collaborate with Xanadu, marking the first international collaboration of its kind for QC2.

The collaborative efforts will focus on the utilization of PennyLane, Xanadu’s open-source software, to develop educational content for students and establish training programs for HBKU’s faculty.
