Wikia Raises $10 Million In Series C Financing

Collaborative media platform company Wikia has closed over $10 million in an oversubscribed round of Series C funding led by Institutional Venture Partners.  Existing investors Bessemer Ventures Partners and Amazon also participated in the financing.
Wikia says it will utilize the proceeds to further accelerate its mobile and video initiatives and acquisitions, among other things.
The most recent funding brings the total investment into Wikia to $25 million.
