Vonage Brings Unlimited International Calling To iPhones

Vonage calling comes to the iPhone with a free downloadable app (through Vonage Extensions). The Vonage Extensions apps allow customers to add unlimited international calling plans to their smartphones,  using one-touch dialling. A free Extensions app for Android devices was launched in September.

A quick look at the Vonage rate card shows that under the Vonage World plan, users can make unlimited international calls to landline phones in over 60 countries, among other things, for 14.99 a month for six months, and then $25.99 a month after that (plus taxes and fees). There are other calling plans available.

The international calling apps are available for download at the iTunes App Store and Android Marketplace.
