Virsec raises $24 million

San Jose, California-based cybersecurity technology company Virsec has closed a $24 million Series B funding round. The investment was led by BlueIO, with participation from Artiman Ventures, Amity Ventures, Raj Singh, and Boston Seed Capital.

Virsec has a portfolio of patents with more than 20 applications filed and 12 already granted, said the company in a statement. The company is working on technology to protect applications from the inside, protecting processes in memory and pinpointing attacks in real-time, within any application.
