Twilio Launches SDK For IOS, Android

[Techtaffy Newsdesk]

Twilio has launched the Twilio Client for iOS. The product, a software development kit (SDK), enables mobile developers to integrate voice over IP (VoIP) capabilities into their iPad, iPhone and iPod touch apps, essentially turning any part of an app into a fully functional VoIP phone. With Twilio Client for iOS, developers can add VoIP features to existing apps or build totally new kinds of apps from scratch.

Jeff Lawson (CEO and Co-founder, Twilio): Twilio’s mission is to open the black box of telecom and make its power accessible to developers everywhere.

Developers can visit http://www.twilio.com/api/client/ios to get started with no contracts or setup fees. An Android version of Twilio Client is also in private beta here.
