Tumblr has released a security update for its iPhone and iPad apps. The update addresses a security issue that “allowed passwords to be compromised in certain circumstances.” The security flaw allowed passwords to be ‘sniffed’ in certain versions of the app.
If you’ve been using these apps, you should also update your password on Tumblr and anywhere else you may have been using the same password, says the blogging network.
