Thatgamecompany has raised $5.5 million from Benchmark Capital. The funding will be used to develop and release its games independently, says the company. Thatgamecompany also plans to bring its games to more platforms.
Thatgamecompany was founded in 2006. It designs and develop broadly accessible interactive video games. The company has a three-game partnership with Sony Computer Entertainment America, Santa Monica Studio.
