Techniplas opens additive manufacturing center in California

Techniplas, a company that provides design and manufacturing of automotive products and services, has opened an additive manufacturing center in Ventura, California.

The manufacturing Center will deliver lighter and stronger parts, as well as cognitive assemblies, says the company. The new facility is equipped with a dozen 3D printers including DMLS, FDM and SLA printers, with plans for another 20 high-speed 3D printers.

The center is also collaborating with early-stage companies to develop algorithms for digital thread and manufacturing capabilities.
