Stanford University, ZSpace Collaborating On Virtual 3D Imagery

zSpaceThe Stanford University School of Medicine’s Division of Clinical Anatomy has joined zSpace’s Academic Advisory Council, a network of universities focused on advancing innovation, design and research. Stanford joins Olin College, University of Southern California (USC) and the University of California San Diego (UCSD) in the council.

ZSpace has also joined the Stanford University’s affiliates program as a Premier Affiliate of Clinical Anatomy at Stanford.

Through this partnership, Stanford Anatomy will provide input on zSpace’s flagship product, a 3D virtual holographic platform, and use zSpace’s immersive capabilities for its medical research and education.

Through its Academic Advisory Council, zSpace,  says it strives to engage with the next generation of designers and engineers to evolve the way in which humans can interact with computers, improve the zSpace platform based on user experiences, identify additional uses for the technology and recruit talent for the its development team.
