Smartphone Monetization Platform “Metaps” Secures $4.2 Million Funding

Tokyo-based Metaps have arranged a private placement financing to raise proceeds of $4.2 million from five firms. The proceeds from this private placement is planned to be used for securing human resources of the Singapore-based, wholly owned subsidiary “Metaps Pte. Ltd.”, and also to advance the company’s Asia-focused platform business “metaps”.

The venture capital firms include INTEC IT Capital, Neostella Capital, ngi group, Nippon Venture Capital, and SMBC Venture Capital.

Metaps is a company specialized in increasing revenue for smartphone apps. The firm is expanding its business primarily in the Asian smartphone market.
