Smart Energy Water (SEW), a global energy and water cloud platform provider, has signed a multi-million dollar agreement with IBM for its cloud services for deployment over the next five years.

Under the terms of the agreement, SEW will use IBM Cloud as the common global infrastructure for their enterprise web and mobile applications. These workloads include customer engagement and mobile workforce engagement applications, online bill processing, energy efficiency and demand response applications, and reward programs, according to the companies.

The SEW and IBM agreement will also provide a platform to jointly expand complementary go-to-market efforts globally, the companies said in a statement.
