Virginia-based IT firm Sev1Tech has secured a $45 million contract with the U.S. Navy’s Program Executive Office for Manpower, Logistics, and Business Solutions (PEO MLB). The five-year contract focuses on providing Logistics IT Integration and Support (LIIS) services.
The company’s role will involve integrating current Naval Logistics IT systems into a streamlined System of Systems (SoS) solution. This will be executed using agile and DevSecOps methodologies and will encompass various aspects of naval operations such as Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (N-MRO), Supply Chain Management (N-SCM), and Product Lifecycle Management (N-PLM).
The project aims to consolidate nearly 200 existing Navy logistics IT systems into a single, integrated portfolio. The initiative is expected to improve service performance and reduce operational costs by cutting down and automating duplicate services and data sets.
