ServiceNow to acquire Era Software

ServiceNow has signed an agreement to acquire Era Software, a Seattle‑based company that provides observability and log management. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.

ServiceNow had acquired observability provider Lightstep in 2021. Era Software is expected to work with Lightstep to provide a “unified and seamless observability experience within one solution, designed to scale,” says the company.

Era Software was co‑founded in 2019 by Todd Persen, who is the chief executive of the company, and its CTO Robert Winslow.
