ServiceNow, AWS announce strategic collaboration

ServiceNow and Amazon Web Services (AWS) have entered into a five-year Strategic Collaboration Agreement (SCA).

The ServiceNow Platform and its suite of solutions will be available as a Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) offering in the AWS Marketplace starting in early 2024, as part of the agreement. Additionally, the two companies plan to co-develop and launch AI-powered business applications specific to various industries.

A Cloud Center of Excellence (CCOE) will be established on the ServiceNow platform, offering visibility of cloud workloads and driving AIOps, SecOps, and Risk outcomes. It will assist in cloud adoption and workload management on AWS. The ServiceNow Customer Service Management (CSM) will be integrated with Amazon Connect.

  • Automotive Manufacturing Solution: ServiceNow and AWS are working with an automotive manufacturer to leverage AI capabilities for managing vehicle manufacturing processes, from issue notification to maintenance.
  • Supply Chain Solution: Integration of AWS Supply Chain and ServiceNow aims to provide a comprehensive solution for supply chain management, combining AWS’s forecasting and operational efficiency tools with ServiceNow’s service management automation.

Availability

The ServiceNow offerings on AWS and the new co-developed solutions are expected to be available to U.S.-based private sector companies in early 2024.
