SeeTrue AI signs a CRADA with DHS for threat detection at security checkpoints

The Science and Technology Directorate (S&T) of the Department of Homeland Security (DHS)  and the Innovation Task Force (ITF) of the Transportation Security Administration (TSA)  have signed a Cooperative Research & Development Agreement (CRADA) with SeeTrue AI.

Under the CRADA, the agencies will evaluate SeeTrue’s AI-based threat detection solution for security checkpoints in airports, seaports, and mass transit operations for government agencies.

The AI solution is slated for rigorous evaluation at DHS and TSA labs. If the solution meets DHS and TSA standards, it could be implemented at airport security checkpoints across the country, according to a statement from SeeTrue AI.

The evaluation is part of a broader effort to integrate open architecture and independent algorithms into national security protocols.
