Scythe raises $3 million

Scythe, a company that provides an attack simulation platform for cybersecurity, has raised $3 million. The investment was led by Tenable co-founder Ron Gula of Gula Tech Adventures.

Evolution Equity, Paladin Capital Group, Stony Lonesome Group and SaaS Ventures also participated in the round, along with private investors Dmitri Alperovitch (CrowdStrike), Ray Rothrock (RedSeal), Aleksandr Yamposkiy (SecurityScorecard), Mike Sutton, Dave Kennedy (TrustedSec), Matt Devost (FusionX), Oliver Friedrichs (Splunk), and Dave Cole (Tenable).

Ron Gula and Dmitri Alperovitch are joining the company’s board of directors.
