Science Exchange raises $28M

Science Exchange, an online marketplace for outsourced R&D and scientific research, has raised $28 million in Series C funding. Norwest Venture Partners led the latest round, with participation from existing investors Union Square Ventures, Maverick Capital, and Collaborative Fund.

The company has raised more than $58 million to date since its inception in 2011.

As part of the Series C, Casper de Clercq, general partner at Norwest, will join the company’s board.
