Scality raises $60 million

Scality, a provider of software for distributed file and object storage and multi-cloud data control, has raised $60 million. The financing was arranged by Silverpeak.

The latest funding round includes participation from existing investors, Scality staff, and a new investor, Harbert European Growth Capital. This round brings the company’s total funding to date to $152 million.
