ScaleIO Raises $12M

Elastic converged storage company ScaleIO has raised $12 million from Greylock Partners, Norwest Venture Partners (NVP), and private investors. The company says it will use the funding to expand its field operations.

ECS, the flagship ScaleIO solution, enables data centers to cut storage costs by over 80 per cent says the company, and streamlines storage operations by converging storage into compute. The company was founded in 2011, and is headquartered in Palo Alto.
