Salesforce To Acquire GoInstant

Salesforce.com has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire GoInstant, for a reported $76 million cash. Salesforce.com is committed to investing in the GoInstant technology and team, says the company.

GoInstant’s shared browsing technology allows users to co-browse the Web with no downloads, plugins, Java applets or Flash. GoInstant was founded in 2010. The company raised $1.7 million in seed financing, and launched at TechCrunch Disrupt in late 2011.
