Rubrik appoints former Google Cloud VP Bertrand Yansouni as head of channels worldwide

Palo Alto-based cloud data management company Rubrik has appointed Bertrand Yansouni as the company’s VP of Worldwide Channel. In this role, Mr. Yansouni will develop and lead the global vision and strategy for Rubrik channel partners, including value added resellers, distributors and solution providers, said the company in a statement. Mr. Yansouni will report to Mark Smith, EVP of Global Sales and Business Development.

Mr. Yansouni was most recently Google Cloud’s VP of Global Partner Sales and Strategic Partnerships. Prior to that, Yansouni was VP of Global Partner Sales at Cloudera. He has also held channel leadership roles at Riverbed and VMware, says Rubrik.

Mr. Yansouni holds a BSIE from Stanford University and an MBA from the Stanford Graduate School of Business.
