Riverbed Technology buys Aternity

Riverbed Technology has signed a definitive agreement to acquire Aternity, a provider of End User Experience (EUE) and application performance monitoring solutions. The transaction is expected to close in August 2016. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.

The acquisition of the privately-held company will expand Riverbed’s SteelCentral performance monitoring solutions with an end user experience offering, and provide Riverbed customers and partners with an end-to-end visibility solution– spanning network, application and end user experience performance management, said the company in a statement.
