Rent-A-Center Names Angela Yochem SVP Of IT & CIO

Rent-A-Center has appointed Angela Yochem to senior vice president – information technology and chief information officer. Ms. Yochem will report to Guy Constant, chief financial officer of Rent-A-Center.

Ms. Yochem is charged with developing and executing technology strategy, according to a statement by the company. Her responsibilities include developing Rent-A-Center’s IT talent, expanding recently developed technologies, enhancing the company’s web, online and mobile solutions, and providing technology leadership.

Ms. Yochem comes to Rent-A-Center with more than 10 years of senior executive leadership experience. She recently served as chief information officer at BDP International, a privately-held, multi-billion dollar company that provides global transportation and logistics solutions.  Ms. Yochem earned a Master of Science in computer science from the University of Tennessee-Knoxville, and a Bachelor of Music from DePauw University.
