New York-based intelligent safety platform provider RapidSOS, has raised $75 million. The funding was led by NightDragon.
Others companies participating in the funding include Bam Elevate, Insight Partners, Honeywell, M12 (Microsoft’s Venture Fund), Axon, Citi via the Citi Impact Fund, Highland Capital Partners, Playground Global, Forte Ventures, C5 Capital, and Avanta Ventures.
NightDragon founder and managing director Dave DeWalt is joining RapidSOS’ board.
RapidSOS has raised $250 million to date.
RapidSOS links ldata from connected devices, apps and sensors to safety agents, 911 and first responders globally. According to the company website, its customers include Uber, Lemonade, SiriusXM, and Instacart.
