Adobe has appointed Cristiano Amon, president and CEO of Qualcomm, to the company’s board. With this addition, Adobe’s board now has 12 members.
Mr. Amon began his Qualcomm career in 1995 as an engineer. He became chief executive in 2021. Previously, Mr. Amon led Qualcomm’s semiconductor business as president of QCT. He has also served as chief technical officer for Vésper, a wireless operator in Brazil, and held leadership positions at NEC, Ericsson and Velocom.
Mr. Amon has a B.S. degree in Electrical Engineering from Universidade Estadual de Campinas in São Paulo, Brazil, and an honorary doctorate from the same institution.
Mr. Amon is a member of the President’s Export Council and vice chair of the U.S.-China Business Council. He serves on the board of directors for the nonprofit Father Joe’s Villages.
