Prophecy raises $35M

Palo Alto, Calif.-based self-serve low code data transformation platform provider Prophecy has closed a $35 million Series B funding round. The investment was led by Insight Partners and SignalFire, with J.P. Morgan participating as a major investor. New investors such as Singtel Innov8, Databricks Ventures, and DallasVC also joined the round. Prophecy has raised $67 million to date.

The funding round also led to two new board appointments: Herb Cunitz, principal Accel2GM and former president of Hortonworks, and Elena Zislin, managing director and partner J.P. Morgan Technology Ventures. They join existing board members Ilya Kirnos, founding partner at SignalFire, and George Mathew, managing director at Insight Partners.

Prophecy says it plans to use the funding to enhance its go-to-market strategies.
