Private Equity Firm Aurora Borealis Acquires Friendgiftr

Friendgiftr, an e-commerce site that sells virtual pre-paid cards was acquired by private equity firm Aurora Borealis Investments. The terms of the deal were undisclosed.

Friendgiftr was founded in October 2008 by Rob Carpenter. Their offices are located on Hollywood & Vine in the Taft Building, the former home of Charlie Chaplin.
