People.ai raises $7M

Predictive sales management platform company People.ai has raised $7 million in Series A funding.

The investment was led by Lightspeed Venture Partners. Index Ventures and Shasta Ventures also participated in the round; alongside existing investors Y Combinator and Ron Conway’s SV Angel.

Nakul Mandan, partner at Lightspeed Venture Partners, will join the People.ai board of directors, according to a statement by the company.

People.ai graduated at the top of Y Combinator’s summer 2016 batch. The company has signed 50 customers including Salesloft, Gainsight, and MemSQL, says People.ai.
