Palo Alto Networks has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire Israel-based Secdo. Terms of the acquisition were not disclosed, but stands at a reported $100 million.
The Secdo acquisition brings endpoint detection and response, or EDR, capabilities, including unique data collection and visualization, to its advanced endpoint protection and the application framework, said the company in a statement. The Secdo team is expected to join Palo Alto Networks, after the acquisition.
The acquisition is expected to close during Palo Alto Networks fiscal third quarter, subject to satisfaction of customary closing conditions.
Secdo is Palo Alto Networks’ third acquisition in Israel; after the company bought Cyvera for $220 million in 2014, and LightCyber for $120 million in 2017.
