Oyster Raises $14M

Oyster, a New York-based e-books company that offers unlimited access to over 100,000 books for $9.95 a month, has raised $14 million in a Series A funding round. The investment was led by Highland Capital Partners. Founders Fund, SV Angel, Advancit Capital, Founder Collective, and BoxGroup also participated in the round.

There are currently more than 800 publishers on Oysters, with new titles added every day, says the company.
