Nvidia Raising $1.3 Billion

Nvidia is raising $1.3 billion in the form of convertible senior notes due in 2018, in a private offering to qualified institutional buyers.

The company says it intends to use the proceeds of the offering to fund capital return to shareholders, and for privately negotiated convertible note hedge transactions, and for general corporate purposes.
