Nirvanix Appoints Tina Gravel Head Of WW Sales

Nirvanix, a provider of enterprise cloud storage services, has appointed Tina Gravel as vice president of Worldwide Sales. Ms. Gravel joins Nirvanix from Terremark.

At Nirvanix, Ms. Gravel is responsible for the company’s sales strategy and global expansion across both established and emerging markets and verticals such as healthcare, media & entertainment and financial services. Ms. Gravel will report to Scott Genereux, president and CEO of Nirvanix.

Ms. Gravel held several positions of increasing responsibility at Verizon/Terremark, most recently as vice president, Global Channels and Alliances. Prior to Verizon/Terremark, Ms. Gravel was vice president, Central Region Sales at Data Return (acquired by Terremark) where she led a sales team responsible for delivering managed services across multiple regions. Ms. Gravel gained additional sales experience in various positions at several  IT companies, including SAS, Sybase and CSC.

Ms. Gravel holds a BS from the University of Massachusetts.
